Can I connect to 2 devices with my SmartHalo app?

SmartHalo 2 is tied to your SmartHalo account to make sure nobody else can connect to it.

Should you have more than one SmartHalo, you can connect to more than one device with the app. The app will always remember the last SmartHalo you connect to and automatically connect to it. 

 

To connect to a new SmartHalo

  • Open the app
  • Open the Top right menu
  • Open the connection menu at the bottom (or tap on your device name if you are already connected to a device)
  • Connect to a new device
  • A pop-up will appear. If you want to be tied to both devices, select Connect to other device. If you want to forget your previous one to be able to give it to someone else, select Forget current device.

After following the previous steps, you now have 2 SmartHalo devices that are tied to your account. The app will remember the last SmartHalo you connected to. If you want to connect to your other device, here's how: 

  • Open the app
  • Open the Top right menu
  • Open the connection menu at the bottom (or tap on your device name if you are already connected to a device)
  • Connect to your other device. This is the one the app will remember from now on, until you repeat these steps.
